Yanfei's 4 star Best-in-Slot, being able to capitalize on all 3 note buffs for the duration of her damage window. At high refinements, the note buffs are potent enough to be capable of succeeding 5 star weapon options.

The Fontaine craftable option that works in Vaporize and Mono-Pyro.

Kagura's Verity
When using 2 skills per rotation, Yanfei is able to attain and maintain the maximum stacks by the start of the second rotation; enabling Yanfei to make use of its max stack condition for a decent boost to her DMG Bonus.

Solar Pearl
Plainly a CRIT statstick as the passive does not buff Yanfei's main source of personal damage, being her charged attacks.

Dodoco Tales
Should players have this event-exclusive weapon, it still remains as a strong F2P option on Yanfei in this playstyle.

Mappa Mare
Decently strong F2P option provided players can spare the billet(s) needed.

Marechaussee Hunter would work only in Burgeon or with Furina. It is recommended to play with Furina for Vaporize teams and uptime on the CRIT Rate buff.

Sacrificial Fragments
Strongest option for Yanfei's personal damage owing to a high EM substat. Spacing out of skill uses when the weapon passive procs is advised in order for electro auras to be maintained.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Provides a potent buff to a single party member, but mandates a structured rotation in order to properly pass the TTDS buff to the character who benefits most from it.

Magic Guide
Inexpensive variant of sacrificial fragments but with slightly less damage potential.

Hakushin Ring
Hakushin Ring's weapon passive is extremely easy both to proc and maintain as Yanfei claims ownership over most, if not all overloads. Great multi-buffing qualities coupled with more flexible rotations makes this weapon comparable to the buff of Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.

Talents need not be levelled in this playstyle

CRIT Rate substats are to be voided in this playstyle due to her A4 applying more instances of pyro application which, although good in-theory, is not actually beneficial. This is in light of the extra pyro application instance messing up the auras on the enemy; resulting in less overloads owned by Yanfei.

Should players have neither of the 4-piece artifact sets that boost her overload damage, running +80 EM 2-piece sets is an option.
When opting for instructors as one of said +80 EM sets, it is recommended to only run the set piece on the flower and feather.
